Stephanie and Jesse | Indianapolis Montage Wedding
When I first met Stephanie, she was catching the bouquet at her best friend, Kelsey's, wedding where I was the lucky photographer. So imagine how excited I was when Stephanie asked ME to be her photographer as well! THEN imagine the anticipation of reuniting the gang for Stephanie and Jesse's wedding... it was enough excitement to make my little heart explode. For reals.
Stephanie and Jesse's big day was nothing short of the most pinkest, most sparkliest, most sweetest wedding. Their wedding day love story began in The Village of West Clay. After some quick getting ready shots (and a few photos with little Money!) we got setup for the first look. Nestled right in the heart of the The Village, Jesse got to see Stephanie in her seriously darling dress for the first time. You guys... it was so cute. These two make my heart melt!
Once the gang joined us, we took some super fun photos around town with some big (and totally fantastic) balloons, then it was off to the Montage for the ceremony! Surrounded by their friends and family, Stephanie and Jesse made their vows and had their first kiss as husband and wife. Some family pictures, laughs, and a few cocktails later, it was time for the party to begin!
Stephanie.... Jesse... I had so much fun getting to know you both. Laughing, planning, shooting, and talking... I loved every second. I can't wait to see where the wind blows you. Drinks soon? xo
How they Met: Jesse and I met at work. We both worked at Hubler Mazda. We were good friends and had a lot in common. I'm a huge basketball fan and I love to play pick up ball. One day Jesse found out that a group of us from work were playing after work. He joined and the rest is history.
Their Proposal Story: Jesse proposed to me on November 14th, 2014, which was my birthday! We had been dating for a little over 7 years. He took the day off and ran around the city preparing everything, while I was out to breakfast with some girls from work and spent the day pampering myself. He told me he was getting off early and we would go to dinner. I didn't know where, which isn't abnormal for Jesse because he likes to surprise me. He came home in his work clothes to make me think he had went to work. I started to get ready and heard the phone ring. Jesse hung up the phone and informed me that our dinner reservations had been moved back. So after I was done getting ready, Jesse said lets go for a walk with money to burn up some time. Well, we ended up in the park that I had always said I wanted to get married at. He said some mushy gushy stuff which, to this day seems all a blur. He asked me the question and of course I said yes. We then went back home and I got in the car to a dozen of roses placed on my seat. We then headed downtown where were greeted by his family. He had everyone surprise me. It was a night full of surprises. To top the night off he got me my favorite cupcakes from Flying Cupcake and a cupcake that had a bride and groom on it.
Stephanie's favorite part about planning their wedding: My favorite part about wedding planning is trying to surprise the other one!
