Kim and Mike Wedding | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

Before I start the picture portion of this blog, I feel I need to gush about how much I adore these two. Kim and Mike could not be any sweeter, more in love, or more perfect for one another. I loved every second I got to work with them (and their sweet pups Gus and Ruby!) With each passing minute of their wedding day, it was clear to everyone that these two are going to live incredibly happy lives with one another.

Set against one of the most historic backdrops in Indy, Union Station proved to be the perfect venue for Kim and Mike to tie the knot. Along with their friends and family, we celebrated their union as a married couple (lol, union.... Union Station... get it!?).

Here some of the darling things Kim wrote about their story together:

How they met: Mike and I first met at Ball State University. We ran around in the same group of friends and I always had a MAJOR crush on him. We reconnected after college randomly back at Ball State one evening, and have not been apart since! We will be together for almost 5 years by the time we get married.

Their proposal story: Mike proposed to me at Versailles Palace while we were on a 2 week trek through Europe. He was so nervous and I did not have any clue he was going to do it. Our friends, Leslie and Ross, helped him sneak the ring into the Palace and he proposed while we were out in a row boat in the middle of the palace grounds. It was magical!

Favorite part about planning their wedding: Mike has been supportive in all the decisions and it has made it SUPER easy for me! He especially liked the cupcake tasting!

Plans for the future: We plan to stay in Fishers after we get married. We are already getting harassed about grandkids so they will come in the next couple of years. We plan to travel a few times this summer for destination weddings!
